The caption is : the Chef does everything but cook – that’s what wives are for ! This advertisement will not go down well with the Y – generation who view one another as equal partners in the relationship and marriage.
There are however, important questions that must be asked before couples enter into a marriage. In her book, Lies at the Altar, The Truth about Great Marriages, Dr Robin L.Smith lists 276 questions to ask before you get married. Yes, you read correctly : 276, ranging from work to every day.
I strongly recommend this book to couples who are planning to get married. Rather address the thorny, difficult issues whilst still in the romantic phase of a relationship.
